In the Urban port (Urbanhafen) in front of the Urban Hospital
are three ships. The smallest is called Josephine and in winter it hibernates here. I can hardly imagine we celebrated our wedding on board of this ship. It was summer, the sun was burning, we were eating, drinking and laughing. So we sailed around the city center of Berlin.
Nothing of this sad sight reminds me on that happy day.
But the next summer will come. Three more days and the darkest day of the year will go by.
Im Urbanhafen vor dem gleichnamigen Krankenhaus liegen drei Schiffe. Das kleinste heißt Josephine und überwintert hier. Schwer vorstellbar, dass wir an Bord dieses Schiffs unsere Hochzeit gefeiert haben. Es war Sommer, die Sonne brannte, wir aßen, tranken und lachten während wir mitten durch Berlin schipperten. Nichts an diesem traurigen Anblick erinnert daran.
Aber der nächste Sommer kommt bestimmt. Noch drei Tage, dann ist der dunkelste Tag erreicht und es geht bergauf.
